Four things we do

Repair is our main work. Everything else grew out of it, because we know the true condition of every unit and every part that passes the bench.

Repair and servicing

Electronic, mechanical and optical faults. We open the unit, work out what caused the problem, then report the cost before a single component is replaced.

  • Analogue and digital cameras: DSLR, mirrorless, compact, camcorder
  • Manual and autofocus lenses, a wide range of brands
  • Fungus removal from optics, sensor and viewfinder cleaning
  • Mainboard repair and spare part replacement

Buying and selling

We sell used bodies and lenses that have passed a technician check, and we buy your camera or lens with an open offer once we have inspected it.

Trade in

Bring your old unit, we check its condition on the spot, then work out the difference against the one you want. We tell you exactly what we find, including anything that lowers the value.

Camera parts for retail and wholesale

YES Camera supplies a broad selection of camera and lens parts for technicians, retailers, service centers, and end users. Parts are available for retail and wholesale orders, with carefully selected components and clear compatibility information.

How the repair works

You know what is happening to your camera

Every technician here follows this procedure, for every unit that comes in.

Intake and function test

We check the unit together with you, then test it manually: shutter speed low to high, aperture small to wide, image sharpness, focus point, cleanliness of the optics and sensor, buttons, memory slot and wireless connection.

Documented before it is opened

The physical condition and every fault is photographed or filmed first, including the damaged parts revealed once the unit is opened. That record is yours, not only ours.

Fault report and cost

You receive a report covering the fault, what caused it, the fix we propose and the price. Until you agree, no work begins.

Repair and cleaning

Components are replaced or repaired as set out in the report, then the unit is cleaned until the optics are free of fungus, smears, fingerprints, haze and dust.

Retest and handover

The unit goes through the same tests as on arrival, its accessories are checked, then it is handed back with a 2 month warranty.

No repair without your approval. If you decide not to go ahead after the report, only the inspection fee applies, based on the condition of the unit. Details are in the FAQ.

What you get, in writing

2 month warranty

Valid for 2 months from the date you collect the unit, covering the same fault we repaired.

Written intake receipt

Every unit is logged on arrival: item details, serial number, accessories, and the problem you described.

Photo and video evidence

Condition before opening, the damaged parts, and the final result after repair, all documented.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a repair cost?

The cost can only be confirmed after the unit is inspected, because the same symptom often has a different cause. Once we have checked it, you receive a report covering the fault, what caused it, the fix and the price. You are free to go ahead or stop there.

Is there a fee if I cancel the repair?

Yes, an inspection fee, because the unit has already been opened and analysed. It runs from Rp75,000 to Rp500,000, depending on the brand, the model, how bad the damage is and the condition of the unit.

We give you the exact figure together with the service report, so you know the number before deciding whether to continue.

What does the warranty cover?

The warranty runs for 2 months from the date you collect the unit, and covers the same fault we repaired. Bring your intake receipt when you make a claim.

How long does it take?

It depends on the type of fault and on spare part availability. We give you a time estimate along with the cost report, before any work starts.

Is there a deadline for collecting my unit?

Yes, 2 months from the date the unit is marked complete. Beyond that with no contact from you, the unit is forfeited under the terms printed on the intake receipt.

Which brands do you work on?

We handle cameras and lenses from a wide range of brands. Send a photo of the unit and describe the problem on WhatsApp, and we will tell you whether we can take it on before you travel here.
